Eclipse Theatre LA presents “Something Wicked This Way Comes”

By the pricking of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes!

This portentous line is uttered by one of the three weird sisters in Shakespeare’s Macbeth.

Coming to L.A. this October is a spooky staging of Ray Bradbury‘s classic horror tale Something Wicked This Way Comes. The stage show has been adapted by the author himself, from his dark fantasy horror novel first published in 1962.

It relates the tale of two 13-year-old best friends, Jim Nightshade and William Halloway, and their nightmarish experience with a traveling carnival that comes to their Midwestern home town. The carnival’s ringleader is the mysterious “Mr. Dark,” who seemingly wields the power to grant the townspeople their most secret desires… But is it altruism that really motivates this sinister fellow?

Eclipse Theatre LA‘s production of Something Wicked This Way Comes promises to be an unforgettable theatre experience for families and audiences using special effects and a timeless scary tale from arguably one of the best science fiction and horror writers of the twentieth century.

NOTE: During the performance fog, strobe lights, and a gunshot sound will be used.
