Yuze Lee

Born with a prodigious talent, Yuze Lee began his musical journey at an exceptionally young age. His innate mastery of the piano revealed itself when he began to replicate the melodies of his brother’s drumming. From that moment, a profound love for music was born, and Lee’s dedication to the piano has only deepened with time.

A virtuosic performer, Lee is a true devotee of the classical romantic era. Drawing inspiration from legendary pianists and composers such as Sergei Rachmaninoff, Ludwig Van Beethoven, and Frederic Chopin, Lee’s musical artistry is a reflection of the profound depth and raw emotion of this iconic epoch.

Lee has studied with the renowned concert pianist Susan Starr, and with the 2nd prize winner of the 1962 Tchaikovsky Competition, Dr. Jenny Chen, herself a talented prodigy who was accepted at Curtis Institute of Music at the age of ten. With the help of Dr. Mingyi Gao of Steinway Hall of Fame and nonprofit M Music Group, Lee’s musical expertise has led to appearances on some of the most prestigious stages around the globe from Singapore, to Italy, and the U.S., mesmerizing audiences with his superlative piano skill and technical mastery.

“Yuze Lee is a remarkably talented young pianist whose playing is a vibrant tapestry of colors. His fingers effortlessly combine technical prowess with a rich expression of musicality and dynamic range, making him a shining star in the world of piano music,” said Jerome Lowenthal, award-winning classical pianist who has served as chair of the piano department at the Juilliard School in New York and is a distinguished faculty emeritus at Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara, California.
