Pauline Adamek is an accomplished critic of theater, films, art exhibitions, music and books. She is a Sydney-born, Los Angeles-based writer, video segment producer and presenter for her own Arts Webmagazine, ArtsBeatLA. 

Pauline has been working as a freelance critic and arts reporter since the early nineties, covering new releases and film festivals such as Cannes, Venice, Berlin, Toronto and Sundance. She also files celebrity interview feature articles for Filmink, Australia.

As an active theater critic, Pauline has been reviewing theater scene in Los Angeles for the LA Weekly and Stage Raw. She is a voting member of the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle. 

Pauline holds a Master’s Degree in Theater and Film studies from the University of New South Wales, Australia. She is also a published author of children’s literature and a cookbook.
