The Los Angeles Philharmonic Association has launched CODA, a brand new group for young music enthusiasts in their 20s and 30s. Held throughout the 2014/15 season at Walt Disney Concert Hall, CODA offers its members an exclusive opportunity to expand upon the Friday night concert experience with fellow music lovers, LA Phil musicians and other artists.

Expanding upon its audience engagement initiatives, the LA Phil also presents LA Phil Music 101, the organization’s third annual music appreciation course designed for all audiences, Saturday, November 15, at 11 a.m. at Walt Disney Concert Hall. The 90-minute session will explore a variety of topics intended to expand one’s knowledge of classical music. Led by KUSC host Alan Chapman, the class includes interactive visuals and a wide variety of musical examples.
