LA Phil presents “Nosferatu, A Symphony of Horror”

This Hallowe’en you can experience the very first (unauthorized) film adaptation of Bram Stoker’s classic gothic tale Dracula – complete with live organ accompaniment – of F. W. Murnau‘s chilling silent movie from 1922, Nosferatu, A Symphony of Horror.

LA Philharmonic presents Halloween Organ, Film & Music: Nosferatu at the Walt Disney Concert Hall on Thursday, October 31, starting at 8:00PM. The classic horror film runs for about 90 minutes and there will be no intermission.

Silent film specialist Clark Wilson returns for Walt Disney Concert Hall’s annual Halloween concert, performing a chilling, original organ score to the 1922 silent movie Nosferatu, A Symphony of Horror—one of the most influential works in cinema and the horror genre—live to picture.
