The 2024-25 Season at The Soraya in Northridge is brimming with classical events, including the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Emanuel Ax, the Israel Philharmonic, LA’s own Colburn Orchestra with Conductor Stéphen Denève, and so much more. Classical performances open at The Soraya on Oct. 10th with the London Philharmonic Orchestra (LPO) featuring violinist Randall Goosby.
Each classical concert explores a boundless collection of music from Bach and Barber to Mendelssohn, Tchaikovsky and all-new works by esteemed American bassist and composer Edgar Meyer.
London Philharmonic Orchestra will launch classical events at The Soraya on Thursday, Oct. 10 with the U.S. premiere of Cuban American composer Tania León’s “Raíces” (“Origins”). With Maestro Edward Gardner on the podium, the evening will also introduce The Soraya audience to noted American violinist Randall Goosby, performing works by Samuel Barber, and Tchaikovsky.

The most anticipated debut of the 2024-25 Season, Emanuel Ax finally lands at The Soraya with his extraordinary versatility and brilliance. The pianist is legendary in the recording studio and on stage, and this evening will feature “Fantasia” standards for classical piano repertoire by Beethoven, Schoenberg, and Schumann.
